Bean salad

1 can brown beans
1 tomato
1 tablespoon cumin
1 lemon
three garlic gloves
some chives
olive oil

Drain beans at least three time, never cook it in the can. Boil for 5 minutes. Drain water and add lemon juice and crushed garlic. Mix and add cumin and mix. Finally put beans on a plate and add chopped tomatoes and chives with some olive oil.

Recipe is originally from Algeria.

Hey sister I tried this recipe but im allegic to tomatoes so I sub the tomatoes for cucumbers and WOW ....Yummy thanks so much. Very healthy

\And here is another salad which everyone can make at home.
WATERMELON SALAD





Try out this refreshing watermelon salad.

Ingredients:

2 small watermelons
1 cup can canned dice pineapple in juice, drain juice and reserve
11/2 cup seedless grapes
2 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
3 bananas cut into bite-size pieces
Procedure:

Slice each watermelon in half lengthwise.
Hollow out the insides using a melon bailer.
Reserve rind for later use.
Drain pineapple, and discard juice.
Slice apples in half, remove cores.
Cut into bite size pieces.
Peel banana, and cut into bite size pieces.
Rinse grapes under cold running water, and pat dry.
Toss the watermelon balls, pineapple, apple, banana chunks, and grapes together.
Serve cold.
